Roadmap

Results first, then more features.

Each phase starts only when the one before it is working well: switches are complete, and every sender's emails are still landing in the inbox. That's why there are no dates here.

  1. Building now

    First release

    • Switching, done for you
    • Domain setup and inbox delivery
    • Contacts
    • Editor and templates
    • Sending
    • Signup forms
    • Welcome sequence
    • Reports
    • Billing and your account
    • Safe sign-up and sender screening
  2. Next

    Phase 2

    • Transactional email, like receipts and reminders, in the same account
    • Parallel-run mode: send your first campaigns from both platforms and compare inbox placement side by side
    • Help rebuilding simple automations: drafted by AI, reviewed by a person
    • Importers for more email platforms
  3. Later

    Phase 3

    • One login for consultants managing several client accounts
    • WordPress, Zapier and donation-platform integrations
    • Dedicated sending addresses (IPs) for larger senders
  4. Later

    Phase 4

    • Our own mail servers alongside our cloud provider, once volume makes them cheaper
    • Inbox-placement testing with seed lists
    • Richer segments

What we've decided not to build

Other tools do these well. Adding them would make Mailtommy more complicated, more expensive and harder to support.

  • A CRM, deals pipeline or lead scoring
  • A landing-page or website builder. You already have WordPress, Squarespace or Wix.
  • A visual journey builder, predictive analytics or an AI content writer
  • E-commerce product feeds, abandoned-cart flows or revenue attribution
  • SMS, social media scheduling or paid newsletter subscriptions
  • Cold email or purchased lists
